Acoustic Guitar Lessons
My course will take you on a nice journey on the acoustic guitar, you will first learn to explore the fretboard of the guitar through the study of intervals, triads and quadriads with all their revolutions, metabolizing their sounds and uses in all the main harmonic contexts also through the study of cadences.
We will study the main techniques related to fingerpicking and flatpicking, then you will learn to accompany in "strumming" with the right "voicings" of the chords, but also to treat the guitar as a solo instrument, thus learning to deal with melody, harmony and rhythm at the same time. We will talk and work on touch, expression and dynamics.
We will study applied reading on the guitar instrument, as well as concepts of theory and solfeggio, in order to be able to work with real "parts" to play and possibly record on portions of arrangements that I found during my professional musical career.
We will always work with the metronome or on ad hoc bases, to refine our "internal rhythm" more and more in order to be able to face live and studio work in the most precise and professional way possible.
We will also work by analyzing and playing various musical genres. Playing easily with the fingers and with the pick will help us to deal correctly and with taste the study of the acoustic guitar in pop, folk, rock but also passing from more "latin" areas.
Each lesson will be accompanied by material in mp3 / pdf and video.
