Easily record your piano performance to CD
The Kawai PR-1 has the dual function of an easy-to-use recording system that connects to an acoustic piano and any audio system. There is no need to buy expensive and complicated audio equipment. 
Simply use the output jacks on the back of the PR-1 to send your piano sound to any system 
audio, recording console or home theater system. 
The built-in reverb can even make you sound like you're playing in a concert hall.
Connect to professional audio systems
The PR-1 provides not only normal line outputs, but also professional balanced outputs (XLR jacks) for connection to professional recording consoles and audio systems. It is also possible to connect the PR-1 to a home theater system. 
The input jacks allow you to record an incoming audio signal to CD. This further expands the 
ability of your CD allowing you to record voices and other instruments along with your acoustic piano. 
And to top it off, the PR-1 can detach itself from the microphones to become a portable CD player that can play 
any commercially available CD!

You can record yourself playing a part of a duet, and then enjoy playing along with your performance
